Who we are
HealthTrac AI is published by Vgosh Info (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at contact@vgoshinfo.com.
The short version
- Your health data stays on your device. HealthTrac AI has no accounts and no server that receives your records or photos.
- No advertising and no cookies on the website or in the app.
- Anonymous usage statistics are optional and off unless you turn them on. They count which features are used and whether the app works. They never include anything you enter. Details below.
- You can export, move or permanently delete your data yourself at any time.
What the app stores on your device
Everything you enter is saved in your browser's (or the app's) own storage on your phone or computer:
- Your profile (name or nickname, age, sex used for the calorie equation, height, weight, goal, activity level) and your targets.
- Food, water, weight, mood, energy, activity and routine entries, favorites, custom foods and recipes, and settings.
- Progress photos you choose to add (shrunk to a smaller size and kept only in this device's storage).
- If you turn on the app lock: a salted, one-way hash of your PIN (the PIN itself is never stored).
- Recovery snapshots of your records (not photos), and a few small facts such as when you last made a backup.
We cannot see any of this. It is not sent to us or to anyone else by the app.
What we receive
From the app: nothing by default. The app does not contact any server to save or process your health information. The only exception is the optional, anonymous usage statistics described below, which you must turn on yourself and which never include your records.
From this website: the pages and app files are delivered by our hosting provider, Vercel. Like almost every host, it processes technical request information (such as IP address, the page requested and browser type) in server logs to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use that information to identify you or to connect it to anything you track in the app.
If you email us: we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you. Please do not include health details in emails unless you want to. You can ask us to delete the conversation.
Voice input (optional)
The microphone button is optional and only listens after you tap it. Your browser's speech recognition then does the work, and depending on the browser it may send the audio to the browser maker's speech service (for example, Chrome and Edge use online services). That processing is covered by that company's privacy policy, not ours; we do not receive the audio. You can always type instead. Voice input is not available in the Android app.
Usage statistics (optional)
This is off by default. The app asks once, and works exactly the same if you say no. If you say yes, the app sends short, anonymous event records to our server so we can see how many people use HealthTrac AI, which features are used and whether the app is working.
What is sent: a random installation ID created when you say yes; the app version and whether it ran in a browser tab or as an installed app; the time of each event; and an event from a fixed list: the app was opened; the profile was saved for the first time; an entry was saved (only its type: food, water, activity, weight or other); a report was viewed (only the period: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 1 year or custom); a backup was exported (only the type: data, encrypted or spreadsheet) or restored; a settings tab was opened; the Plan screen or an upgrade option was viewed or tapped; the browser reported that the app was installed; or a short error code such as "storage full".
What is never sent: anything you enter or store: food names, nutrition values, weight, measurements, targets, mood, energy, routines, notes, photos, voice audio or text, backup files, your name, email or location, or error messages. The list of allowed events is fixed in the app and checked again by our server, which refuses anything else.
The installation ID identifies one installation of the app, not you. It is not linked to your health records or to an account (there are none). Another device, or the same browser after you clear its data, counts as a different installation.
What we do not store: we do not store your IP address or browser or device details with these records, and we use no advertising or fingerprinting tools, no session recording and no location tracking. To stop abuse, the server briefly keeps counters under a salted hash of the caller's address that changes every day, and deletes them within two days. Our hosting provider still keeps ordinary technical logs, as described under "What we receive".
How long we keep it: event records are deleted automatically after 180 days. We look at totals only, and groups of fewer than five installations are hidden from our own reports.
Your control: go to Profile & Settings → Preferences → Usage statistics. "Withdraw and stop now" stops collection immediately, deletes the ID and any unsent events from your device and asks our server to delete what it holds for that installation. If you are offline at that moment, the automatic 180-day clean-up removes it instead. "Delete everything" also resets this choice. Usage statistics are not collected in the Android and iPhone apps.

Backups and exports
When you export a backup, a file is created on your device and you decide where it goes (your downloads, Files, Drive, email…). Backup files are plain, unencrypted text (photos are included only in "complete" and "photos" backups). Keep them somewhere private. We never receive them.
App lock
The optional PIN lock keeps people who pick up your device out of the app. It is a screen lock, not encryption: someone with technical access to your browser's storage could still read your records. Use your phone's own passcode too.
Cookies and similar technologies
The website and the app set no cookies and use no advertising or cross-site tracking technologies. The app uses your browser's local storage and IndexedDB to keep your records, and a service worker to keep the app's own files available offline. If you opt in to usage statistics, the random installation ID and a small queue of unsent events are also kept in local storage until you withdraw. The only cookie we use is a sign-in cookie on the private page the site owner uses to view the totals; visitors never receive it.
Children
HealthTrac AI is for adults aged 18 and over, or an older minimum age where the law of your country or your app store requires it. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Because the app collects nothing from you, there is nothing for us to delete, but if you are a parent or guardian with a concern, contact us. If someone under 18 enters their age, the app does not generate automatic calorie or weight-loss targets and shows a notice instead.
Your choices and rights
Because we do not hold your data, you already control it:
- See or move it: Profile & Settings → Backup & data → export.
- Delete it: Profile & Settings → Backup & data → Delete everything, or clear this site's data in your browser, or uninstall the app.
- Stop usage statistics: Profile & Settings → Preferences → Usage statistics → Withdraw and stop now.
- Stop usage statistics: Profile & Settings → Preferences → Usage statistics → Withdraw and stop now.
Clearing browser data or uninstalling removes your records for good. Make a backup first if you want to keep them. For anything we do hold (such as an email you sent), contact us and we will help.
App stores
If you install a version of the app from Google Play or the Apple App Store, those companies process their own information about your download and any purchases under their own policies. We do not receive your health data through them.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects your privacy (for example, optional sync), we will update this page and tell you in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
